Uniting nations with powerful policy recommendations

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe’s High Commissioner on National Minorities needed to introduce two critical sets of continent-wide policy recommendations: the Lund Recommendations on the Effective Participation of National Minorities in Public Life and the Hague Recommendations on the Education Rights of National Minorities.

Sandbox was tasked with creating animated explainer videos to communicate these recommendations clearly. To address complex issues like ethnic tensions and conflict prevention, we used abstract illustration and smooth motion design, ensuring the content was both engaging and accessible. To allow for wider reach, we provided voiceovers and subtitles in multiple languages, including English, Russian, Ukrainian, Romanian, Macedonian, Albanian, and Serbian, increasing the impact and accessibility of these important policy messages.
