As part of their Oceans Protection Plan (OPP), Transport Canada wanted to create videos that would foster engagement and increase awareness on the topic of marine incident response and protection of Southern Resident killer whales.

In order to reach this goal, Sandbox crafted two bilingual educational videos that focus on marine incident prevention, response systems in the Salish Sea, and efforts to protect Southern Resident killer whales. This project was crafted with a wide audience in mind: from Indigenous and coastal communities, to federal departments, and other marine industry stakeholders.

This project adeptly conveyed the intricacies of the marine incident prevention and response system that make up part of the Oceans Protection Plan.

Our team demonstrated a nuanced understanding of marine safety, security, and environmental protection, effectively highlighting the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders. By presenting factual, engaging, and culturally sensitive content, we ensured that the messages reached target audiences and made an impact.
