For the United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) Oslo Governance Centre, Sandbox produced a compelling explainer video on preventing violent extremism (PVE), and highlighting the global efforts of UNDP in this critical area.

The video aimed to simplify a complex issue, using a combination of archival footage, editorial clips, motion graphics, and data visualizations to make the subject matter accessible and engaging for a global audience. By breaking down the ways in which UNDP contributes to PVE through its various initiatives, the video provided a clear and informative overview of this important topic.

This video was showcased at the UNDP’s Oslo III digital conference, a pivotal event focused on understanding the evolution of the violent extremism landscape.

Through the video, UNDP was able to share valuable insights on effective governance strategies and contribute to ongoing research, policy development, and programming related to PVE.

The combination of powerful visuals and clear messaging ensured the video conveyed the nuances of preventing violent extremism, and the critical role of UNDP in addressing this global challenge.
