British Columbia’s Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training and WorkBC wanted to showcase the diverse career paths across the province to educate and inspire students and adults alike. Sandbox has been partnered with the team for three years, producing a doc-style web series to do the job right.

In each episode of Career Trek, we highlight an individual professional, offering viewers an in-depth look at their daily responsibilities, training, and the broader industry. The series provides valuable insights into career paths that run from healthcare and education to cyber security and the trades. Career Trek helps viewers understand the education and skills needed to pursue a career, and via the WorkBC website, connects viewers with additional career planning and labour market resources.

Sandbox has played a pivotal role in creating this engaging and informative series, with each episode featuring dynamic storytelling, expert advice, and visually compelling content.

By capturing the real-world experiences of professionals, we’ve made career exploration more accessible and relatable for a wide audience across the province. Through careful production and thoughtful interviews, the series serves as both an inspirational and practical resource, providing young people and job seekers with a clearer understanding of potential career paths in British Columbia’s ever-evolving job market.
