LiUNA Local 506 and Ontario’s Skills Development Fund were looking to promote the trades. To assist, Sandbox created a series of impactful videos that highlight the journeys of real tradespeople in the construction industry. Starring LiUNA Journeypeople, the series features each subject in three short videos: the first on their personal journey into the trades, the second on the craft they specialize in, and the third on the training they received to hone their skills. These videos offer a personal and relatable look into the world of construction, inspiring prospective apprentices, their parents, and their educators to explore trades careers.

Hosted on the LiUNA 506 Journeys web platform we developed, these videos not only serve as standalone marketing tools – but also support the broader content on the platform. The dynamic, visually engaging storytelling brings the trades to life, showcasing the diversity of workers and the hands-on experience that comes with a career in construction. By giving viewers an inside look at the trades, we aim to inspire the next generation of apprentices and help fill critical skill gaps in the industry.
